Freeze-Fracture Electron Microscopy Workshop

In-Person or Virtual Workshop at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience

August 5th, 2022, 9:30 am – 12 pm EDT

Freeze-Fracture Electron Microscopy: Basics and Applications of Immunogold Labeling For Membrane Proteins

Have you heard of Freeze-Fracture Electron Microscopy? Do you have an idea or a project where you need to analyze the abundance or location of membrane proteins?

The Electron Microcopy core at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience is one of only a few facilities worldwide that can perform freeze-fracture replica immunogold labeling.

Our experts will host a series of lectures that will cover the basics, history, and advanced applications of this unique technology. The workshop is free and open to scientists at all levels including faculty, researchers, staff, and students. Attendees will explore the technology as well as learn practical workflows and analysis methods.

Register to participate in person or virtually by August 1, 2022.

Registration is now closed.
